i feel icky right now. i dunno exactly why. i found out today that i'm going to have a buncha people here at my house for the new year's eve. i ran around and got some party favors and food, and tried conning my friend M into coming over with her aunt's yummy veggie pizza dish. its a cold dish. tis yummy.

in other news, we had to take M's aunt's cat Duke to the vet today. 4 weeks ago, they found out that Duke had abdominal cancer of some sort. he suddenly lost a whole bunch of energy and weight. well, they gave him 2 weeks to live. then 10 days ago, they gave him a shot of cortizone, and hes been a bit better. well today, when M went to check on him (her aunt is outta town) she found him with mucous in his eyes. so she called the vet at home. so we ended up taking him to the vet. he was merely dehydrated. plus the vet gave him another shot of stuff. seems that this cancer causes the cat to feel full, so they dont eat or drink... and then basically waste away... she also gave us some really high calorie food for him to eat to get better... which he ate a bit of when we got back. hopefully he'll be ok til her aunt gets home.

watched a bit of Priscilla Queen of the Desert on tv tonight. all it did was remind me of THE GIRL. i do like talking to her. i love her as a friend, and i think i could fall in love with her. its too bloody bad that she is 8500 miles away from me. meanwhile i have SPAETZLEGIRL here, who is my best friend, and i love her for lots of reasons, and i could have fallen in love with her, but as we all know thats not in the immediate cards.
i dunno where i'm goin on this thread, so i think i'll just shut up and go back to watching teevee.
