i've decided that technology is a wonderful thing. it makes us be able to listen to music without having to be in the same place as the performers. it allows us to communicate over long distances with people we have never met. it makes it possible for us to listen to radio stations that are 8000+ miles away.

i had dinner with SPAETZLEGIRL tonite. we ran a bunch of errands, and then decided that dinner was a good plan. we ate a surprisingly mediocre dinner at a chinese restaurant called Yangtze. the entrees seemed a bit salty. the whole nite i kept teasing her. somehow she would complain about some minor thing, and i'd say "well you know, if we were dating, that wouldnt be an issue" an example was "oh crap! i have to fold a pile of laundry thats on my bed before i can go to bed!" the others were along those lines.

i need to reset my sleeping habits. i'm up way too late right now. i think i'm all done with my christmas shopping. i hope so. i'm tired of racking my brain wondering what to get people.

there are downsides to technology. for instance we now know how silly we are in electing our leaders.
