wicked wicked cold today. around 10°F the walk from my parking ramp to work was brutal. almost as bad as walking from work to the car last night, when we had some terrifically strong winds. something like 30-40 mile an hour winds.

i was all set to mail the package to THE GIRL today. i was goin to leave work early so as to save my very very hoarse voice, but i was thwarted by having to do work. i am going to for sure be really late to work tomorrow (voice excuse) so i will mail it tomorrow morning.

had a nice dinner with M tonite. i had made a Turkey PotPie out of leftovers the other day, and it turned out really well. theres this bisquick / campbells soup recipe for chicken potpie where you take cooked chicken, add some cream of celery / mushroom soup and frozen veggies and top it with biscuits and bake. well i sorta did that, but without the biscuits... i used puff pastry dough. and that worked out quite well. oh and i added some durkee onions. ymmm... gotta try and make a non-cream base pot pie like Nikki's does, since they do the puff pastry top on theirs...

ooh look. its nyquil time.
