spent most of the day playing with my new toy - the apple newton messagepad 2100 . i also helped my friend B get his retro computer - the Macintosh SE working on a network connection. that actually sucked up most of the day. i mean, if i was still living with my ex, she woulda been pretty pissed at me. but sometimes, i just have to do this. its like total immersion into the geekdom. the hope is that i dont do this 24/7.

theres this thing that we do at work. we tend to quote movies / tv shows / etc verbatim, based on appropriateness. its like we pull these quotes from outta the recesses of our minds. i dont know if its a universal geek trait, but i know that we do it. its definately weird. sometimes i'm not at all surprised that i dont meet more people.
