my parents jetted off w/o incident, and thankfully there was little friction between me and them. not that i was expecting lots, but i was expecting some amount of badgering/argument over the typical things - house cleanliness, cooking style, my weight... but there was nothing of the sort. i was quite pleased.

the meal itself was great. the only down side was the spinach i cooked, was a recipe that involves feta and blue cheeses. i put way too much blue cheese in, and it didnt mix well with the turkey / stuffing / cranberry combo.

i hung out with my friend B tonite, the one who i usually convince to buy things, and instead of him buying a bigbuck purchase, i made one.

i bought a used Apple Newton MessagePad 2100. its cool. it makes nifty sounds. its an apple.

now, i didnt really need one. after all, i already own and use a palmpilot. but as we all know, its not about whether or not you need something is it?
