this girl online was mentioning her fake dates she had planned. when asked what a fake date was, she replied, its when she goes out with a friend, and if they are bored enough, they might fool around. this is such a strange concept to me. i never have had this sort of a life.
i do not know anyone like that in my reality. i certainly heard stories about people like that, but never someone near being my friend. or someone who i would go out with. so its quite interesting to hear that. perhaps i'm just from a different generation of people. of course i do hang with youngers, but even so...

i went and succummed to the madness today - i went shopping. for you outside of the US, the day after thanksgiving is a HUGE day for shopping for holiday gifts. its the biggest day for sales for almost every shopping organization. so i went and purchased gift items for two of the girlies in my life. so, i got some stuff for THE GIRL and SPAETZLEGIRL. now i need to figure out what to get my parents, my niece and nephew, and a few others. but i suppose some of those will be click click purchases - online stuff.

my cat is so cute. even if he is a little pudgeball. he's losing weight though which is good. and completely expected as he is on prescription diet food. so he's lost about a pound. he needs to lose 2 more before the vet will be happy.
