i made my thanksgiving dinner purchases today. got the turkey, the stuffing, the potatoes, and the veggies for stuffing the bird. yes, i'm making thanksgiving dinner again. this time, my dad and my friend and his mom are coming. there might be 2 other guests if its snowing out. my mom, is down in argentina with some of her ballroom dancing friends for some latin dance exhibition.

then, M and D and i went to dinner at Italliani's. its a chain. i know. but they have really good bread. and the dessert. THE EX and i would go there and save plenty of room (a challenge with the meal sizes there...) for the wonderous dessert they call Tartufo. its like a magic Ho-Ho. on steroids. or, how a Ho-Ho would be if Emeril Lagasse made it. BAM! theres some chocolate mouse! BAM! there's some white chocolate mouse! BAM! theres some chocolate cake! BAM! there's some chocolate frosting! BAM! theres soem rasberry sauce!...
its a wonderful place. and the entree food is good too. not the same as a small little place, but definately good for a chain...

M is having this swedish dinner tomorrow nite, so tonite she was all about cleaning, and cooking in preperation. so D and i went to Target, and bought some stuff, we also bought a tiny $3 xmas tree and then hooked it up to the giant star they have hanging down from the ceiling as a light. i thought it would look amusing, and it did. an upside down xmas tree. we then decorated it with some red and silver strings of beads, and then found some tiny presents that had come off a birthday cake. it was quite fun.

a quiet night, but still a good one. i always enjoy sitting and talking with M about life and philisophical things like that. you always need someone like that in your life. shes great. i cherish our friendship.

remember playing 4 square in grade school? i do. it was a topic of conversation over dinner tonite. i loved that game.

draw me something wonderful on my whiteboard
