i tried calling GOOD WITCH last nite, but she wasnt home and so i left a message on her machine. tonite M, D and I (the three musketeers?) went out to dinner, and were gonna go to Famous Dave's in Calhoun Square, but the wait was huge, so we went into Borders Books where D works, and where M used to work... anyways, we were gonna kill some time lookin for books then head out to st paul to go try a new restaurant. turns out GOOD WITCH was there, but i didnt see her. either way, i'm not sure theres much spark there, but i think we had a good time and i probably should try again to see for sure.

in other news, i am in THE GIRL withdrawal. shes got less time to send email from work now with her new job, and her online time at home is severely limited cuz shes at home with her parents and well like it should be, shes off doing stuff with them. also cuz shes back in her hometown, she has more people to go and do things with. all which add up to me having less time with her. chances are good that it will get better when she gets her own place, but its looking like that wont happen until after the new year at the earliest. maybe she'll have a new place before the US has a new president.

i've narrowed my SUV choices down to the 4runner and the pathfinder. i think. my dad, who has final buying say, sent me a Motor Trend magazine which has the Acura MDX as the overall winner in a test between 10 different SUVs. of course they didnt test a 4runner or pathfinder. but they did test an Infinity QX4, which is the even fancier version of the pathfinder. exact same car, just infinity badged i think... so now i'm wondering if dad is saying 'get the acura' which would make sense cuz he likes their cars. (he's on his 3rd, and my sis and bro-in-law have had 3 also, and my sis loves hers)
i'm sure that M would like that also, since shes an Acura owner too. even if she said that she found more attractiveness in a pathfinder driver than in a 4runner driver. (during a jokin moment with our friend B and I, I asked M which would make me more attractive, and then proceeded to compare SUVs. her overall choice was the pathfinder.)

now what i need to do is look up some reviews of it by the car magazines and the consumer reports people.
