blah.

my job shopping continues... i talked to someone who works in one of the areas that i might jump to. he was quite excited to have me working there, i think cuz a)he knows i know my stuff, and b) he's currently swamped in work and needs a hand.
other feelers are out there, and i hope to hear next week on some of them. in the meantime, i've blown off a few meetings that i've dubbed 'dumb' and am wondering when i'll get in trouble for that... i did tell my boss that i wasnt gonna go if they didnt want my input anyway... but he's on vacation off shooting at pheasants or sumsuch.

other news, tomorrow one of my friends who is a vendor is flying into town for a week of intense testing of stuff so i'll probably be busy doing that, or goin to dinner and getting work advice from him.
