had a totally random recollection of memory today as i drove home. i remembered how there was this one toy electric train that my parents had purchased for me ages and ages ago. but there was something wrong with the engine. so i had taken it apart (as i tend to do with things) and managed to make it work better than before. it was a weird memory to bring up.

the mind works in such strange ways.

as Sherlock Holmes would say, "Watson, the game is afoot!" - i refer of course to work. something is going on, and i think i might return from my 2 week vacation to some changes. we shall see though. i could just be doing wishful thinking.

i forgot to mention i talked to THE GIRL. shes tired, busy and we had a nice chat. we figured one way or another we'll get a chance to meet when i'm down there. woohoo!

i just realized i forgot to call my dad yesterday for his birthday. bloody hell.
