my nephew ben's birthday is today. but i dont know how to reach him. he is off for the first time at a private boarding school. happy birthday buddy.

i'm quite happy that juan pablo montoya got his first win in Formula 1 racing today. he deserves to be a world champion in F1 just as much as he deserved his CART Championship and his Indy 500 win.

i'm sitting here listening to bauhaus. somehow it seems appropriate music to finish off a horrible week.

my friend grocerygirl and i went to a greek festival today. it was held at the local greek orthodox church, and we got a single entree plate of mousakka - an eggplant dish. it was quite nummy. it was a lot of food too. we ate well.

then we went to see this british film called Greenfingers, starring Clive Owen, who good Internet people know as the driver from the bmw films net movies. it was quite brilliant. helen mirren is lovely in it. quite good fun.

then i managed to spend $50 on cds. its all Grocerygirl's fault. i try and stay out of music stores. she wanted to go. oh well. shes fun to hang with.
