where did the summer go? all this time, i kept thinking there were more days left in summer. that there were more festivals and block parties and outdoor things to see. but they're all gone and past. somehow i managed to miss them. and now, as we round the home stretch, i can say that i still think its 2000. somehow i've lost time. and it just blows me away. its not like i'm super busy at work. i'm actually forcing myself to take it easy at work. not a hard task since the project from hell is what i'm working on now, and i've never had a soft spot in my heart for it. quite the opposite.

did i mention that my stylist moved salons so shes about 20 miles further away than before? well, she is. on the plus side, the haircut cost has decreased by 50% which makes the extra drive worthwhile. but not at these bloody gas prices. also worthwhile is that she knows how to cut my hair the way i like it.

but alas, no more cute salon receptionists.
