well work was interesting. i had my mid-year pre-review. this is the time when we sit down and do a normally useless 'midyear review' which has no benefits to employees cuz usually promotions and any increases come at year end. but, not for me... looks like my boss is trying to get me promoted (which i've deserved for the last year or so) except this promotion supposedly comes with costs.

• i gotta get in by 9am. (normally i'm arriving now at 1030am)
• i have to be nice. i have a reputation for being an asshole to people. mainly its cuz they're idiots asking me stupid questions
• i have to support a project i dont like nor care about. mainly this wasnt "support that project" its more of a "help where you can, and dont go saying 'its not my fuckin problem, ask someone who cares'"

meanwhile, a fly managed to get into my house, and now its bugging me. arrghh.
