we had our work summer picnic thing today. i was dreading it, cuz its been extremely muggy here. and being outside, there was a high possibility for suckiness. even without the mugginess, there is always a possibility for suckiness at any work event outside of work. however, with the free yummy food, (bbq ribs and chicken, and assorted accessories from Famous Dave's) and the decent games of volleyball, and the weirdo 'vortex' footbally thing, it was alright.
which considering my opinion on work the past year, is quite surprising.

of course, it is mid-year review time, and i am suckin up.
