i feel like sleeping for 2 days. i'm just so exhausted. this heat and humidity has sapped me for some reason. and its not like i actually go out into it. i've become such a hot humidity wuss. gawd.

i'm sitting here listening to various net radio stations, trying to find something that i am happy with. tis the story of my life.

took the kids (pets) to the vet today. it was a good excuse to leave work xtra early. eheheh. it was an interesting vet visit - for the first time i took both the cat and the dog at the same trip. it worked out ok. have i mentioned that my vet is really cute? i'd ask her out, but i bet she's like betrothed to some tall blonde hunk or something.

in a weird kismet kinda thing, THE EX found a stray kittie (2 days old) and is trying to nurse it back to health.

GROCERYGIRL and i talked on friday about how there is no good way to meet people in this city. everyone has these tight knit circles that they establish in high school and college, and they let NO ONE in. and if you move to the city, you're basically in a bind as to meeting new people. she told me that there was this group that she was thinking of joining, just to meet people - not geared around dating, but it was going to cost $1000. thats a lot of money. i mean i know that some dating outfits want that much to set you up with people - they do the same sorta thing : background checks, etc. but sheesh! $1000? so we were talking about forming our own little group. we'll see. actually, i am gonna email her and suggest we do it for real. heh.
