went to see John Cusack's High Fidelity tonite. great film. even better that
i only had to pay $2 for it. yes. it was at the great cheapo theatre. its a
new theatre that is only for 2nd run.
in honor of that movie's main theme... here are my Top 5 things i miss about
THE EX.
- Her Exuberance about things
- How damn warm she was ( i think she exuded like 150° )
- The Flip of her hair
- Kissing her goodnite
- Her Hugs
More importantly however, here are the Top 5 Things i like about THE GIRL
- Her voice (even if she thinks she sounds like a 12yo)
- How I can make her laugh and how she likes that
- How she and I can think of the same things at the same time. (ok its a bit
freaky too, but i still like it)
- Her passion about racing
- That she likes me. she really really likes me.

- how shes been trained in hand to hand combat
- how shes a marksman
- how much she loves music
- how she wont take any shit from me
- how she looks on a parking curb
one thing i have learned over the years, and learned especially with long
distance relationships. its hard to act like a lovestruck teenager. lets take
a look at why. shall we? ok. here we go.
You cant do the Say Anything thing. namely the driveup to her house and
play Peter Gabriel on the boombox at her window til she comes out. Why not?
well. a)its close to stalking b)you're not excused cuz yr older and supposedly
more stable c)if shes long distance, it'd take a damn long time to drive there.
You cant drive/ride your bike by her house a kajillion times a day wondering
if she likes you. why not? see above.
You cant call up her friends and ask them if she likes you. why not? yeah? why
cant you do that? i guess you can.
you can still make up little mix tapes, and send her stuff. like boxes of
lovely trinkets to make her think of you. yes.
