went to see the bands semisonic and the wallflowers at the basilica block party. it was quite hot, quite crowded and quite hard on the feet. it was quite good, cept there were people that really werent there for the music. rather i think they were there because the thought they should be there because these were 2 really popular bands. therefore, they should be there seeing them. and a strange observation was made. in 90+% of each group of people that wanted to move forwards past us, there was someone in the group with a light blue shirt. thats way too strange coincidence factor.

of great amusement were all the people trying to use cell phones while at a concert. um hello? theres a band outputting hundreds of decibels of sound, and its aimed right for you. i dont think you'll hear your phone that well. eeeeediots...
