at work, we usually go out to lunch with a vendor and make them pay. my boss likes to smoke, so the number of places we can go is somewhat limited by that and our location. one of the places we go usually is a hotel. we went there today, and were greeted by picketing employees, and then when we got in, we found that there was only a lunch buffet, and that we would ahve to eat off of plastic plates, with plastic utensils, paper napkins, and plastic cups. it was quite amusing.

even more funny was the food in the buffet was non descript, and un labeled. i dubbed one thing "round meat" cuz it was a round disk wrapped in bacon. most likely it was a turkey thing. who knows.
