woohoo !!! my boy Juan Montoya won the 2000 Indianapolis 500 race for Target Chip Ganassi Racing!!! its soooo excellent. unfortuneately Jimmy Vassar was on a different pit strategy and wound up needing a splash and go 4 laps to go... so he finished 7th...

i like hearing her laugh. i talked to her on the phone. it was wonderful. we talked like we knew each other for years, even though its only been weeks. i also love her voice. the accent is wonderfully different. i described her voice to her as "like a gentle tropical rainstorm pattering against the tin roof of a beachfront gazebo"
we got talked of many different things. some had meaning, some didnt. twas a lovely time. of course, right now i'm chatting with her, and lets just say it isnt as lovely a time. she claims its the mixed cold/flu pills she took, but i dunno.

i could go on and on about our phone call, but i feel somewhat self conscious about doin that, so i'll just leave it at what i've said so far.

had a nice bar b que tonight with my friend M and D and M's cousin D and her aunt C. it was quite fun.

oh oh oh. M cut all of her hair off. its like totally short now. very cute and pixie like.
