digital cable tv is an interesting thing. it brings in tonnes of channels of entertainment. or as in tonite, channels upon channels of distraction. i was able to see the end of the wonderful movie Empire Records. i was able to then switch between Mystery Men (which i saw in the theatres) and Eyes Wide Shut (which i had never seen before, and was somewhat intrigued by) when i should have been doing other things more productive.

its been a while since i sat down and read a book. theres been too much to read outside of books lately. between keeping up on work stuff, and web serfing, i find that i've got less time to read books and novels that i usually do. and i should read more. reading is fundimental.

went on a desert making binge tonite. made some pudding, and some jello. mmmm hopefully they'll be all nice and set for tomorrow...
