germination time

well i managed to be very unsocial this weekend. it was wickedly cold saturday,
like 50F! so, i went out to do petstore purchases, and fast food lunch (and
dinner) and then stayed inside to play on the computers for the rest of the day.
i'm trying to set something up on my unix boxes at home. so it was a day of
web serfing. today was landscaping day. gardening, lawn mowning, etc.
oh, and of course, more web serfing. normal people look at varied sites when they web serf. me? i look for specific things. sometimes. well this weekend was more of a serf around looking for some computer code. stuff that would bore you to tears. of course, you are reading this.... *:) here's a question for you: why is it so hard for men and women to communicate? i mean especially when there is some possibility of a more than platonic relationship between them. maybe i'm just a weird psuedo-sensative type. it should all be more straightforward right? but then, i guess we wouldnt have as much fun. cuz sometimes the pursuit is as good as the prize. did i mention that i'm relatively happy? well i am. i hope it doesnt go away.
