i've been quiet of late. there are some good reasons for this.

• i was out of town in chicago for a friend's wedding...
• food tv. i dont need to elaborate.
• i think my life isnt requiring my melodramtic stylings much lately. so i'm bein shorter here.
• i've not been feeling much like writing
• lack of things to chat about in my life

it was a weekend of much eating. started with friday. i arrived in time to go have lunch with my mom, so we went and had a yummy lunch at this place in Winnetka, IL called cafe delmonico. mmmmm. i had a yummy veggie sammich.

friday night was the rehearsal dinner at a Maggianos. this is a family style italian place, which means, HUGE PORTIONS. and we had lots of food to eat. all really really yummy. super yummy.

saturday was the wedding, and the bestest wedding meal i've had in a while. yes there was the standard Chicken with veggies. but also, we had a nice filet steak. mmmm. it was no silly sirloin, but had to have been a filet mignon. it rocked. plus the dessert was great. some little ice cream thingy. and the wedding cake was cheeesecake!!! mmmmmmm

other than the food, there was the people i saw. i got to hang with my longtime best friend P and her boyfriend S. and i had lunch 2 times with my mom, and dim sum with a huge gang.

and at the wedding reception, i had a chance to chat with C and K, who used to be a couple, but now they are just good friends. K is really cute, and quite funny. if i were in chicago, and it wasnt a weird thing since C is an aquaintance, i'd ask her out.

oh, my friend abscissa asked me what was up with the girl at work i was asking out, and well, i think its not gonna happen. shes sorta blown off my last email askin her bout lunch. oh well.
