it allows me to record shows like a vcr does, but it does it all on a diskdrive. its kinda neat. it also allows me to pause live tv that i'm watching thru it. and also do instant replay. its a toy for sure. i hope its worth it. i think it will be. my friend B has one. so i waited til the price was worthwhile. i bought one that was about half what he paid. and it gets about 50% more time. so, i guess its better than his. eheheh. thats the important part.

and how many people liked billy crystal's hosting of the oscars? i did. his one liners were the best, the ad-lib ones... like "how do you lose issac hayes?" and so forth. like when he did the comments of "heres what people are thinking" and he would comment on ppl they picked out of the audience on the monitor. when he was on michael clarke duncan (from green mile and whole 9 yards) he said "i see white people" - thats my 2nd fav.
