i found out the cost of waiting too long to get plane tickets. big bucks. i decided that i would fly down to chicago at the end of the month instead of driving. i'm going down for 3 reasons: 1-a friend's wedding 2-dim sum with THE EX, my parents, her parents, and a few friends 3-pay respects to my grandma and visit my grandpa's grave. i just decided that the 6.5 hour drive is not what i want to do by myself again. its just long. if i had someone else drivin down it wouldnt be bad. but no. tis just blah by yrself.

i also found out what happens when you wait too long to eat a popsicle. it melts all over you when you pick it up. oopsie.
