this morning started out with me reading about some yummy looking food in Food and Wine magazine. i decided i should try my hand at roasting some chicken. and to start with, i will do a cornish game hen just for me. if you hadnt noticed by now, i like food. and i like cooking. i just dont cook as much as i'd like, because cooking for one is considerably harder than for more than one.

i'd like to take the opportunity to wish a big ole HAPPY BIRTHDAY! to THE EX. sorry i didnt send a card or a prezzie. at least i called right?

its amazing. the east coast gets socked with a big ole storm, and here in the tundra, we're thawing out. the 3 inches of ice on my walks and driveway are melting down and soon i'll have no ice!

i really am looking forwards to the warmer weather.
