Song:

singing in my sleep - Semisonic

actually, the one song that i feel most right now is New Year's Day by Nina Gordon - ex of Veruca Salt. if i knew which of my 12 disks had the MP3 on it i'd quote it here. the one memorable line goes something like this: "its new years eve, i'm here, and you're over there" and continues in a longing tone. well thats what i feel. i'll let you guess who i'm referring to...

and yes, i can hear her singing to me in my sleep...

more meditative thinking today, but not as much. i guess i was a bit more absorbed by my book than before. today also, i went on a dive - we dove windsock. a short, shallow, dive... good for a checkout dive - where you make sure all your gear is still functional.

Song:

Roads - Portishead (this is the song that played while Tank Girl Lori Petty was sandshowering in Tank Girl)

Have you ever eaten those dried, sweetened cranberries? i think they go by one brand name - Craisins. yum yum. i think i'm gonna go get some now. mmmm.....
if you have some, try freezing them first. yum yum yum

i wish i had internet access. i mean real fast access. being offline is ok, i just wonder how much email is piling up at home and at work. plus i miss talking to people online.

i've been on vacation 5 days and i've read through 6 books. novels. i am such a geek.
