no sooner than had i sent in yesterday's update, complaining about not chatting with THE GIRL, than she pages me. mind you, it was 2:45am on a work night. but i was awake still, and so i went and chatted with her for a nice while.

my life is in shambles. my laptop power cable is fritzing out. my clothes dryer still needs repair (gonna call it in tomorrow morning) and my house is being gradually ripped apart by forces of nature - snow/ice damns/dog.

made a slightly salty (ok its salty) beef stew over the last few days. all so i could have a home cooked meal for tonite's dinner with GROCERYGIRL. she came over so we could have food and watch Chicken Run on dvd. shes never watched a DVD before. nor chicken run actually. she liked it. she also is 'video game impaired' aka shes not into video games. somewhat shocking. she sat down and noticed my Birthday Book - a book that gives scarily accurate readings on people based on their birthdays. theres a companion book about Relationships, which i dont have. GROCERYGIRL was saying how accurate the books were about her and her ex, and tonite she was saying the birthday book was dead on for her.

perhaps its significant that the Chinese zodiac recommends i stay away from her.
